Hello, fellow dog lovers!
I recently posted an article at Psychology Today, extolling the benefits and virtues of the pushing exercise, and recommending people try it. Many here know how beneficial it can be. My aim in writing the article was to motivate even more people to try it. With that in mind, if you'd like to post how the pushing exercise has helped your dog, you can do so by going to the comments section. Right now there are 55 comments, but most of them are supposedly from behavioral scientists (I say supposedly because they don't use their real names), who were defending their beliefs, along with responses from me and Kevin Behan pointing out the flaws in their logic. It would be nice if we could give some of the positive feedback that's been posted here, about the benefits of this exercise, a wider audience. Thanks a lot! LCK |

You and Kevin are doing a great job of maintaining your composure! I just added my two cents about the pushing exercise - and encourage other readers here to do the same.
side note: sorry this post took so long to appear - I realized that it had been in a moderation queue in a different section of the forum, so I moved it here. My apologies! Also - I've made this a sticky for the time being. |
