No I haven't tried the stepping on the toes. I will try it tonight. Thanks for the suggestion.

Rarely do I get a faint woof. Generally I only get lip licking by holding the food to my chest. I hold the food high and she usually sits down but that is hasn't been enough. I was thinking of getting her behind a chain link fence and doing it (dogs almost seem to feel safer behind a fence) or getting her around another dog that is good at it already to see if that will do it. No idea if those would work, just some thoughts.
