Default hunger, fetch and tug

I've been playing around with my training routine with Lou.

I've discovered that if we play tug, or fetch-tug, before he gets any food in the morning, before any push-for-food, he's more likely to play hard. Which, of course makes sense. I hadn't thought of it before.

But, once I break out the food for pushing, Lou stops being interested in fetch or tug. I have a funny feeling that this will always be the case. He's a food motivated little fellow.
