After a long hard winter, I have started pushing with Butters again on our walks, mostly because he had started to push his chest into my face.
He sits on the sofa next to me, hops on my lap, puts his front paws on my shoulders and pushes. He will also press his head and face into my face. Since we have started pushing again, he is doing the face pushing thing more. He is only a small dog so its not a problem as such, I just end up with a face full of fur. Wondering what this might mean. Is he just transfering energy or is it something else? When he is done he hops onto the back of the sofa and goes to sleep. Any thoughts are welcome |

I guess if you wait long enough a behaviour stops.
I guess he was telling me we needed to do more pushing. |
