Tug in the round

I found out a way to get my soft girl Eka to tug more and she is starting to pull harder and hold on longer, bit by bit.

I sit on the ground with my two tug toys and swing one toy at a time around me dragging it on the ground trying to make it as prey-like as possible. Once she grabs the first one we tug a bit then I let her win and then swish the other one on the ground the other way.

Now she will tug with more than the ace bandages - she will tug the braided fleece ropes and also some soft stuffed bumper shaped squeaky toys. In fact the squeaky toys are the favorite lately and before she wouldn't hold strong enough for us to really play tug with them.

I'm going to learn all the soft dog NDT tricks!
