Default hi from Minky in VT

oh hi i tried to do this intro thing earlier. I tried to attach a photo of my pit bull Minky and his favorite kitten, Cali (a calico!) But I couldn't pull it off.
Minky went to Kevin Behans natural dog training seminar @ Orvis in Manchester, VT a couple years ago and he love, love, LOVES that man. Mink says Kevin is the most amazing MOOSE he has ever met, and he would prolly drop everything and follow that moose/man to the ends of the earth..... if he could. You folks can see a video clip of Mink over @ Kevin's website - i think it's called pushing with a pit bull. I would give a link but I'm not good at this hi-tech stuff.
I am going to try to post this now.

yeah the little cat Cali is such a MOOSE. She probably weighs around 5-6 pounds and has been known to stalk deer - and scare them. She has a no nonsense way of moving through the world and she and my big dog are so in sync. Mink is appreciative of the little dead animals she leaves for him to roll in!

Default welcome

Hey, it's great to have you posting here. And I think you're the first one to include a photo. Maybe I'll get around to it soon. It's nice to put a doggy-face to the name. Lucky you to have participated in an NDT training and right from the source (Kevin). I would love someday to meet/work with any of the NDT-Three (as I refer to Kevin, Neil and Lee). I'm sure dogs really feel safe and connected with those guys. Keep posting!

yeah, Kevin def has that "animal magnetism", ha, ha, ha. I think maybe what the dogs love is the fact that he is less busy inside his head - there's more clarity and purpose, and of course the dog senses that the guy is actually listening, and can even talk dog pretty good. Mink & I just call him zenmaster.

I would love to do more seminars with anyone of these folks... been awhile and my skills such as they are, grow rusty. Kevin has a "retreat" going on down at Rowe Center in Mass in May (i think) but that is pricey...... even with kevin's sliding scale fee for the actual seminar.
