Default Hello from UK

Hi there everyone, I have been luring here for a while and reading all of the wonderful advice everyone has. I'm just about to take the leap into natural dog training with my boy Toby. I have had him for about 10 months, he is around almost 6 years old and was a rescue dog. I have been trying some other training methods with him, but I seriously think I am making him worse, and I am not happy playing such a dominant "alpha" role, so I am going to give natural training a go.
Thanks,
Sarah

Welcome Sarah,

I've got a 10 month old Australian Shepard without any real issues except a lot of energy. So far it has been working great. She plays a lot of tug and does a lot of pushing.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes with your dog. Remember it is a process. There is no instant anything in my experience, but improvement over time.
