Rudy and I live outside of Toronto Canada. He was a rescue and adopted by us at 8 months. He had fear aggression issues and has spent time in Vermont with Kevin. We still have a ways to go but are certain we are up to the challenge. We also have Tobias, a mixed breed medium-sized older fellow and an old grey cat with a crumpled ear and major attitude. They have one-half acre fenced for their backyard, lots of exercise and love. Life is good.

Hi
![]() I'm also the mom to a Rudy - my 12 yo cocker. My other opportunity dog Lou, is also a cocker. He spent a few days at Kevin's. How long was your Rudy at Kevin's? What were you instructed to do with him once he got home? Welcome ![]() Lacey |

Hi, Rudy was with Kevin for three weeks. It was a great opportunity for him. He was raised in an apartment with no appreciable exercise so to be in the woods and run free with another dog would have been a joy to him. When we returned to Canada we were to keep pushing, tug, fight for tug but mostly just relax and let him be a dog. Because we had worked through issues I was told to expect him to regress and display puppy behavior. He did he chewed a couple of items etc but nothing major. We still have work to do but Rudy is a great dog. He is intelligent, gentle and easy to train. Being a GSD he is protective. We are working to clarify to him how intense he is to be protective and to whom.
