Smile hello from the UK

Hi I have a lovely little working english cocker spaniel, Holly, who will be six in August. Her prey drive is very big and she can flush out a game bird with no problem - however, she ignores my call to stop and to come back. She will however come back within a few minutes, sometimes it is dangerous because she has been known to run across roads.

I stumble upon this site when I was looking at various ways of working with Holly. I have found the notion of mouse quite intriguing and wan tot follow it up. there you have it I am just curious and would like my little dog to be happy and enjoy just being a dog!

Is blue roan a popular color over there? I NEVER see blue american cockers.

Here are my boys.

Yep - unsure about the American cockers and whether they are for working or just show. Over here we get solid colours and roans, blue (black), orange.
Mine would be able to work the field if she had an owner who knew what to do!!
