Learn how to connect with your dog so your dog will listen to you...no matter what!
Do you want to know that your dog will pay attention to you and respond to your call, even when distractions are present? Would you like a stronger connection with your dog? Would you like your dog to be calm and relaxed indoors?
Does your dog suffer from aggression, anxiety, or submissive peeing - or is your dog hyper? Do you want to play with and train your dog in a way that is consistently positive and fun for both of you?
Are you looking for an approach that's different from anything else you've ever tried?
The problem with mainstream dog training:
Most mainstream training falls into two major categories:
- Dominance-based training. In this type of training you're focused on being the "alpha" in your dog's life, and your relationship can be characterized by being more based on command-and-control. At it's best this training works (as long as you can maintain your authority with your dog - which can be tough to do at a distance!) - at it's worst, this kind of training can instill fear in a dog and actually make problems worse.
- "Positive" training. This type of training (based on operant conditioning) focuses on rewarding "good" behaviors and discouraging bad behaviors. It attempts to teach your dog how to think through any situation based on what they've learned about right-and-wrong. Again, this kind of training can work really well with a dog - although frequently a dog's ability to "think through" a situation falls apart as soon as their environment gets more emotionally intense.
Do You Have THIS KIND of Connection with Your Dog?
In contrast, I teach you how to work with your dog on an emotional level. You learn to create a magnetic attraction between you and your dog, and then you use the force of that attraction to elicit obedience behaviors, and solve problems like aggression, anxiety, and hyperactivity.
In the moments when it really counts (guests arrive, you encounter another dog on your walk, you come across a deer in the woods, etc.), your dog isn't thinking! Instead, your dog is responding to whatever feels right. That's why it's important to build an emotional connection with your dog. Your dog learns to stay relaxed and focused on you even in moments highly charged with emotional energy, and you will be able to communicate because it literally feels to your dog like the right thing to do, the best thing to do.
- When you're out in the world together, your dog will be focused on you.
- Things that used to trigger your dog will now give you an opportunity to build an even more magnetic attraction between the two of you. Your dog will literally see the triggering thing and look to you to figure out what to do.
- Your dog will respond to commands like "down", "stay", and "come" with focused, energized enthusiasm.
- The more emotionally intense a situation is, the more your dog will be in tune with you - you will be able to communicate even in these highly charged moments.
- When your dog is alone, they will be calm and relaxed.
- You will be able to stay relaxed and know exactly what to do no matter what comes up with your dog.
Video Instruction that Makes It Easy For You
In order for you to make the quickest possible progress, I have put together a 2-Video Course that takes you through the process of connecting with your dog in easy-to-follow steps. Since each lesson builds upon the success of the previous lesson, you will see clear, positive changes each step of the way. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
Part I - The Basics
It all starts with Part #1. You will not only understand how your dog feels the world, but also experience what it's like to satisfy your dog's deepest emotional desires (and attract your dog's attention in high energy moments). In Part I, you will learn all about how your dog interacts with the world on an emotional level, and some key exercises that teach your dog how to focus on you no matter what's happening "out there". The unique exercise "pushing" gives you a completely new tool for tapping into your dog's emotional awareness. I also demonstrate exactly how to use pushing to turn your dog's attraction to something else in the environment into an even GREATER attraction to you. You'll also see exactly how to play tug-of-war correctly - in a way that builds your dog's energy and attraction, and a variation on the game called "Fetchtug" that gives your dog a physical AND emotional workout at the same time. By the end of Part I, you will notice a profound shift in the level of connection and attentiveness between you and your dog.
Part II - Mastering Obedience
After learning how to harness your dog's emotional energy in Part I, you will see exactly how to use the force of your dog's attraction to you to effortlessly elicit obedience behaviors like heel, down, stay, and come. In Part II, the approach to obedience consistently reinforces and strengthens your connection with your dog. The entire sequence of exercises leads you to a rock-solid recall - so even if your dog is hot in pursuit of something else they will spin around and come right back to you at the sound of their name. All without coercion - your dog learns that it just feels right to listen and respond to you in those moments. Because you truly will be more interesting to your dog than anything else out there in the environment.
Look, the only reason that you can teach a dog "obedience" is because your dog ALREADY KNOWS how to do all of these behaviors naturally. So what makes more sense - trying to "teach" your dog how to sit/lie down/stay from scratch, or simply getting your dog into the emotional state when they would naturally be doing those behaviors? Part II shows you how to get your dog into that state (using what you learned in Part I) and then how to clearly communicate with your dog in ways that your dog truly understands to achieve relaxed, energized, focused obedience.
This process has worked for thousands of dogs. And it has worked for me.
My dog Nola used to be completely hyperactive. Totally squirrel-crazy (yes, she even caught and killed a squirrel once). Would run off into the woods to chase who-knows-what, completely deaf to my calls, only to return hours later. Aggressive towards 90% of the dogs that we met. And after 6 years of trying everything I was feeling despondent.
After switching to the techniques of Natural Dog Training, I experienced a complete turnaround with Nola. She came when called. She looked at ME when squirrels were around (or just ignores them completely). She is friendly with almost every dog we meet. And she settled down, becoming much more relaxed in the house. At this point she's 13 years old and we all live happily together (our family now includes my wife and two young children).
I can't believe that I almost followed the advice of one prominent online trainer (I'm not naming names) who told me that I should euthanize her to keep other dogs safe!
Since then, I have seen (in person) and heard about (through my website) thousands of dogs for whom these techniques have been helpful. They touch what's universal in all of our dogs, and will work for you too.
I guarantee that you'll be satisfied, or you can simply return your DVDs for a refund. I'm knocking on wood as I say this, but I have yet to receive a single set back. It's how I can say, with confidence, that you'll be really pleased with the results.
All my best,

Natural Dog Training - ONLINE & DVDs
First, I'd like to thank you for the Natural Dog Training DVDs. They are extremely helpful! I especially like the detail on the pushing exercise because I'd tried pushing before with my dog, and he'd balked - I hadn't understood all of the mechanics until I saw you perform the exercise. I'm sure I'll be able to help Tyler push now. 🙂 I've been trying to work with him in many ways, and this is by far the most helpful. My current goal is to get him to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test (just because). We're also going to be starting agility classes (again) soon. No other training method has been as effective as this one, and I look forward to training sessions now (Tyler does, too!).- Deb
A Place of Balance and Harmony
Natural Dog Training isn't about training. It's about connecting. Connecting to your dog on a level that no other form of training can accomplish. And through this connection, the training comes naturally.
Our dogs are doing great! Especially Roxy:) I've seen her handle some things recently that would have just thrown her over the edge before. Like a friend's dog she never met, running right up to her nose, and then pushing into her chest, and all Roxy did was sniff him. How awesome is that? 🙂
Absolutely Would Recommend
Hi Neil, I'm glad to report that Martine is much more calm thanks to your techniques. He does not go hog wild when guests enter the house. Why? Because I redirect his energy to me.
I go up to complete strangers who are struggling with their dogs and recommend your dvd.- Rosalind
My Dog is So Attentive Now
I'm using pushing in an at times distracting environment. My dog is really keyed into me and getting more so now that I'm doing it regularly.
It's a great way to train a dog.- Steven
Our conversation really helped me...
Just wanted to thank you again for taking the time to train the neurotic new mom :). I found that our conversation helped redirect me. It also reminded me to chill out, let him be a puppy and not expect so much from him all while trying to better manage his environment and being more observant to his needs and helping fulfill them.
Looking forward to working with you in the future! Have a good day and thanks for being there for us.- Jill
